Saw Wicked yesterday. It was great fun. Better than I had ever expected, and I'd had pretty damned high hopes for it.

And pretend I wasn't busy.

We all remember that day eight years ago. We all woke up, expecting nothing to be wrong. Some were away on school trips, some were too young to remember exactly, but I was ten years old. My mother woke me up and rushed me downstairs shortly after I had gotten dressed. And there, I watched again and again as the towers were hit by the planes and then watched them fall. Back then, I certainly knew that the human race could carry out horrible crimes against each other, but that was way beyond anything I had ever seen or heard of.

"I'm in shock." I remember saying to my mother. "I'm in serious shock."

On 9/11, I always take a moment of silence, but I already did my moment. But this shall hopefully make me remember for as long as I may live. We were hit badly, and we have bounced back.

1) Othello Michael Wayatson

-Well, Othello used to have a black eye and a white eye and the name came from the game Othello where you have pieces that are black on one side and white on the other. Michael was the name of a guy I liked back in high school and Wayatson came out of the blue. No idea where that sprung from.
- Oh jesus... Well, he was my second character ever born, back almost five years ago. I was obsessed with Fullmetal Alchemist and so I created an alchemist. Mostly, I just wanted someone with red hair who looked cool.
-He has changed so much. Originally, he was a fan character for the show stated above. Sweet, strategic, and brave. Since then, he's become more skittish, secretive, but still sweet. He became paler than I had originally had him, and his eyes became deep blue, one a light, grey-blue due to blindness, but the red hair stayed.
-He's ambidextrous.

2) Nyoka Emmerson Solomon

-My Mr. Mouthful. His name came from all sorts of places. Originally, he too was a fan character for the same show, a snake chimera. Nyoka means snake in African. Back then, he had no last name. It came recently at the beckoning of his coloring, which is like a desert. Solomon is brand new. His old last name used to mean 'Of The Sun', but it was time to be changed. The middle name comes from my making it up or hearing it somewhere.
-As I said, he was a fan character because I was an uber fan girl. And I wanted a snake chimera. End of story.
-After I got out of the Fullmetal fandom, he became a lizard wizard, and then he became a naga because I was looking around on this site and liked the way they looked. And he's stayed like that since. Coloring's changed now and again, but that's about it.
-He can unhinge his jaw and he sees in ultraviolet.

3) Allison Morgan Newman
-It started out as just 'Allie'. She had no middle or last name. Those came later as I was trying to tie up the loose ends. Then I figured, 'Allie is a nickname, not a full name.' so I changed it to Allison.
-She was made as a part of a project to have a story from each of the continents of Inlya: Mor'Salla, Ark, Opestrus, Consenia, Marxsos, and Asergia. She was Asergia's story and I got her initial idea from watching Iron Man. She's only a couple years old, but one of my most treasured.
-She hasn't changed all that much. Some of her facial features, and bits of her personality and her clothing sense. Those were about it.
-She has an IQ of 188 and she invented electric rocket boots.

1. What about you is heroic?
"I... I uh... hmm. I listen to people and don't hit them when they're annoying? I try to help them solve their problems. I like to cheer people up... I usually buy people dinner before having sex... and I rescue kittens from trees~"
(Me: No, he does not rescue kittens. He figures that they will just get down on their own one way or another.)

2. What about you is social? What do you like about people?
"Everything about me is social! I love people. I love talking to people, being around people, dancing with people, doing fun things with people, fucking hot guys... you get the idea. I couldn't stand to not be around people. They're great!"

3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group?
"Like, with my boyfriends? I am always on top. They don't need to do anything but sit back, relax and enjoy the ride~"
(Me: He is an understanding guy who can act as a middle man if need be. And he is fairly adaptable. He rolls with punches.)

4. Why would you choose to join the current group?
"God... that's an interesting story. You see, I met them after the big ass family reunion we have, like, every two years or something. I was trying to hit on Joey and Kane came over to why he was freaking out and it sort of went from there. I like cute guys with nice bodies. And Kane's accent ain't bad either."

"The world's population has been reduced to almost nothing and must be rebuilt!"

"I have a couple. 'Len is most commonly used by people who know me but my younger brother calls me 'Arlen the Great' for some strange reason. I think he's crazy."

"I am twenty-two feet long from the top of my head to the tip of my tail and weigh more than I care to weigh but weigh that much much the same. I am thirty years old and have short spiky black hair, dark gold eyes, kinda tan skin and blue and green scales that just didn't feel like staying where they ought to."
(Me: In accordance to his age, he is still young, before his prime. He's in his second year of college. He just matures slower than we do.)

"Uhhh... I don't have legs so no pants... but I have to wear a hip cloth outside. And no it's not a skirt! And no shirts. I hate shirts."
(Me: He likes to wander around in his house with no clothing, but since what you can see really isn't that "Offensive" he has been known to accidentally known to go outside like that on accident when getting the mail.)

"I wear nice jewelry and a nice... shirt. Yuck. With a tie even! Icky."

"God I hope you mean my immediate family. I don't want to get into my relatives. There are just too many. I'm going to take it at face value and say that the family I live with is pretty good. Loud, but good."

"Dad's dad. I dunno. His name's Fehris and... well he's just dad!"
(Me: Fehris is stricter with the kids and prefers them to try finding the answers themselves before coming to him.)

3. Who was your mother, and what was she like?
"Mom's home more often than dad is, but she doesn't work. Her name is Yelena. She likes hugs too much."
(Me: She's a Touch-Me kind of person. Arlen takes after her more.)

4. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married?
"They fought more when I was younger but after they had the twins, they matured a bit more and at least quieted down if they fought. But, they're doing better now. Been married for a while now. Never really asked."
(Me: He doesn't really remember, but they got married when he was six after a year of dating. Fehris is not his biological dad. They never bothered to tell him. They will if he asks.)

5. What were your siblings names? What were they like?
"Senra and Kale. They're my younger twin terrors and my partners in crime. They used to help me sneak out when I was younger. They're about four years younger than I am."

6. What's the worst thing one of your siblings ever did to you? What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings?
"Kale got mad at me and told my parents that he had caught me copulating in my room a couple years ago. And they were rather pissed at me. But I knocked Kale and Senra off the roof when they were eighteen and Kale broke his rib when Senra fell on him."

7. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now?
"Dude, I still live with them. Being at home is cheaper than having a apartment I have to pay for. I work for minimum wage."

"I saw them a couple years ago, all of them. My family's fucking huge man! Seriously, they need to start dying so I don't have to remember all their freaking names. But I like my really great grandparents. They know things."

"My sailboat."

"Uhh... not really. Well, no. My mom's best friend, Donnie, was there a lot. He just stopped showing up after a while. Think he moved across the ocean for a job."

"There were my siblings... and Eri and Brian. Brian was cool but Eri was bug nuts. Looking back now, I can;t remember why I liked to hang out with her so much."

"Christmas with the big family. There was too much food and so many presents."

"Senra got really sick when I was about thirteen. Thought she wasn't gonna to make it."

"I was twenty-one. Went on a date with this girl from drama. Couldn't bear the thought of kissing her though. A couple months later I figured out it was because I like guys. Who knew?"

"I respect authority and authority respects me, but we keep our distance. My parents told me life would be much easier if I just did as I was told and only tried to bend the rules and not break them."

"I was known to have a different boyfriend every couple of months. I wasn't secretive about who I liked. And I was my own clique thank you very much."

"Stay above the D range and get laid."

"My idol was this one superhero that could bend things with his mind. I wanted to be able to do that so badly. And I got great life advice from those comics, like if I don't follow the law, I'm gonna get my ass kicked. Be good girls and boys."

"Their filing system needs serious reworking. God I hate doing inventory."

"If I have it with no goal that I need to save it for, I spend it. But, I try to pay for my own books at least."

"I can use water based magic and it sort of manifested as... I dunno... the word's... ah right! I can see the future, usually only when I concentrate, but sometimes when I sleep. (Me: I must tell you, Arlen sees sex as a way to get to know someone better. To him, it's pretty harmless as long as both parties are willing.)
