HUMANOID NAGAS

• Scales stop at hips
• Eyes can be any color that a human’s can plus gold, silver, violet, natural red, and orange.
• Hair can be any color that a human’s can, including silver.
• Ultraviolet vision
• Scales are usually one color with the occasional mottled mix. Can be quite the variety of colors.
• The average male is about 6’0. Average tail length is about twelve feet.
• The average female is about 5’8. Average tail length is about nine feet.
• Genitals on males hidden inside body and only come out when aroused. Located on the first underbelly section.
• Genitals on females are like that of a human’s and are located where the first underbelly section should be.
• Pupils are slitted.
• All have hemotoxic venom that they can choose or not choose to inject.
• Fangs replace canine teeth and fold up when not in use.
• Eye shapes tend to be rather narrow but some have rounder eyes.
• Average lifespan for males is about 5,000 years. For females it is about 5,200.
• Completely finish growing around the age of 70 for both men and women.
• Deals with elemental magics: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. But they are more a physical people than a magical people. They usually much prefer fists to magic. It’s used as a last result most of the time.
• Generally live in cities and towns.
• Warm-blooded. Average body temperature is 96.3º.
• Most live on the continent of Mor’Salla and generally, as a whole, prefer the more temperate areas with a more even amount of rain and sun.
• Their diet is composed mostly of fish and small game, but they do have a taste for the bittersweet foods like fresh sugar cane or grapefruit. Things that are sour really have no appeal and neither do the super sweet such as chocolate or sweet cream. They do not respond well to caffeine but do have harder constitutions for alcohol.
• They are more prudent, thinking of clothing like a sign of civility. Men parts must be covered and women parts must be covered but as to how much or how little is of no concern, though less clothing often marks you as a prostitute.
• Rare gems, glass, silks, gold, silver, mythril and weapons are highly valued in terms of material possessions.
• Government is a monarchy.
• Almost all speak the universal language of Deluse, a language that rather resembles late 19th century English. An English-speaking human and a humanoid naga can carry out a conversation but there will be a few things that neither will understand, but mostly that comes from slang used and other dialects that have been integrated.
• All have pink gums and tongues. All tongues are forked.
• They consider themselves civilized and have the royal court and the royal army to serve out punishments seen fit for the crime.
They cannot “glamour” (They can’t use the normal magic to disguise themselves with an impressive illusion) but they can manage an odd spell that allows them to literally split their tail and slightly rearrange their insides to give them legs but it is taxing and most can only keep it up for a couple hours before getting fatigued.



REPTILIAN NAGAS

• Scales go past hips, up the back, down the fronts of the arms, on the sides of their torsos, and sometimes on their faces.
• Eyes colors are black or brown. There have been bright blue too but those are very rare.
• Hair mostly matches scales and can be anywhere from one to four colors. Mostly depends on ancestry.
• Normal color vision
• Scales resemble patterns on those found on snakes on Earth and on Inlya.
• The average male is about 6’2. Average tail length is about fourteen feet.
• The average female is about 5’6. Average tail length is about ten feet feet.
• Genitals on males hidden inside body and only come out when aroused. Located on the first underbelly section.
• Genitals on females are like that of a human’s and are located where the first underbelly section should be.
• Pupils are slitted.
• About half of any population has neurotoxic venom. The others have no venom at all. And those who have it can choose or not choose to inject it.
• Fangs are fixed and are only slightly longer than normal human canines.

• Though they do not prefer to wear clothing, they will when need to. Usually, they run around butt naked. Clothing is seen as something by which to constrict someone within their culture.
• Shiny items, rare or not, bones, glass beads, mythril, gold, silver and weapons are highly valued in terms of material possessions.
• They don’t follow the monarchy unless they live within a city’s limits where they are subjected to other’s laws. When in their own groups, a clan or tribal leader enforces the rules set by them as a whole.
• They almost always are speaking in the old tongue, the one that all nagas used to speak before they adopted Deluse though some are trying to adapt for purposes of trade. It sounds mostly like clicking and hissing.
• Most have pink gums and tongues but a small percentage have purple or black. All tongues are forked.
• They consider themselves civilized but it is still an eye for an eye in most cases and revenge killings are not unheard of.
